LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – George Mason incoming recruit Brodie Heshler earned the Boys' Volleyball Player of the Year in Pennsylvania, PennLive reported Thursday morning.

PennLive held the 2026 Sports & Scholars Awards ceremony on Wednesday at the Best Western Premier Hotel and Conference Center in Lower Paxton Township.

The 6'7" middle blocker for Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, Pa., becomes a two-time First-Team All-State honoree with the award. 

He played club volleyball for Yorktowne Volleyball and played on the USA U19 Team.

More than 50 awards were presented to high schoolers, including 20 Best & Brightest. The sports awards recognized excellence in various athletic sports.
