FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's basketball head coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis has announced the addition of Roisin Grandberry (Arlington Heights, Ill./Rolling Meadows/Loyola Chicago) to the program for the 2026-27 season.

Grandberry joins the Patriots after two seasons at Loyola Chicago, where she appeared in 41 career games for the Ramblers.

"Everyone join us in welcoming Roisin Grandberry to the family!" said Coach Blair-Lewis. "She brings versatility, skill, and a universal approach to the game. She competes, plays with purpose, and has the type of mindset you want in your program. What makes her more special is the way she carries herself off the court — she's a high-achieving student who takes pride in academics and leads by example. Roisin represents everything we want in our program, and we're excited for what's ahead."

During the 2025-26 campaign, Grandberry saw action in 29 games and delivered key contributions throughout the season. She played a season-high 24 minutes in a win at Saint Louis on Jan. 11, recording career highs with 10 points and two steals. She also made an impact in postseason play, grabbing four rebounds—including a crucial late-game board—in Loyola Chicago's WNIT victory at Norfolk State, while also knocking down a three-pointer. Earlier in the season, she pulled down a season-best four rebounds at George Mason on Jan. 14.

As a freshman in 2024-25, Grandberry played in 12 games while battling injury. She earned her first career start at Saint Joseph's on Feb. 9 and logged a season-high 16 minutes against Richmond on Jan. 23, where she connected on her first collegiate three-pointer. She scored four points on a perfect 2-of-2 shooting performance at VCU on Feb. 26, grabbed a season-high six rebounds at Massachusetts on Feb. 19, and recorded two blocks at Davidson on Feb. 5.

A highly regarded prospect out of Rolling Meadows High School, Grandberry was ranked No. 74 overall in the 2024 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings (No. 16 forward) and No. 6 in the state of Illinois by Prep Girls Hoops. Known for her versatility and skill in the post, she earned multiple accolades during her prep career, including 2023-24 All-State Honorable Mention and Daily Herald All-Area honors. She was a 2024 McDonald's All-American Game nominee and a Blue Star 30 athlete, while also collecting Mid-Suburban League (MSL) All-Conference honors in 2022-23 and honorable mention recognition in 2021-22.

Grandberry's addition bolsters the Green & Gold frontcourt with size, versatility, and experience as the Patriots prepare for the 2026-27 season.
