FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's basketball junior guard Kory Mincy has garnered NABC All-District Second Team accolades, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Tuesday.
 
A Second Team All-A-10 pick, Mincy earns NABC All-District accolades for the first time in his career. He is the 26^th player in school history to receive the honor.
 
Mincy dazzled the Patriot faithful this season as one of the best pure scorers in George Mason's A-10 history. A two-time Atlantic 10 Player of the Week selection this season, he ranked 11^th in the league in scoring (14.3 ppg) and assists (95). He also was third in the A-10 and 22^nd nationally in free throw percentage (.892).
 
The 2025 Sunshine Slam Most Valuable Player scored 10+ points in 23 games during the regular season and led the team in both 3pt FG made (67) and 3pt percentage (.394). He scored at least 20 points in a team-high seven games on the year.
 
Mincy and the Patriots return to action Tuesday with an NIT First Round game against Liberty. Tip-off in Fairfax between the Patriots and Flames is set for 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
