FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's basketball junior guard
Kory Mincy has garnered NABC All-District Second Team accolades, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Tuesday.
A Second Team All-A-10 pick, Mincy earns NABC All-District accolades for the first time in his career. He is the 26
th player in school history to receive the honor.
Mincy dazzled the Patriot faithful this season as one of the best pure scorers in George Mason's A-10 history. A two-time Atlantic 10 Player of the Week selection this season, he ranked 11
th in the league in scoring (14.3 ppg) and assists (95). He also was third in the A-10 and 22
nd nationally in free throw percentage (.892).
The 2025 Sunshine Slam Most Valuable Player scored 10+ points in 23 games during the regular season and led the team in both 3pt FG made (67) and 3pt percentage (.394). He scored at least 20 points in a team-high seven games on the year.
Mincy and the Patriots return to action Tuesday with an NIT First Round game against Liberty. Tip-off in Fairfax between the Patriots and Flames is set for 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
