PATRIOT POINTS
• The Patriots are 20-2 for the first time in school history and started A-10 play 6-0 for the first time in program annals. The team is 8-1 in conference for the second straight year. GMU also is one of just 12 programs nationally to have 20 or more wins.
• Since the start of the 2024-25 season, George Mason leads the A-10 and ranks t-8th nationally in total wins (47).
• George Mason is 25-4 (.862) in its last 29 A-10 games dating back to the 2023-24 campaign. That's the best stretch by an A-10 school in league contests since Dayton went 26-3 from 2019-21.
• Last time out, the Patriots erased a 13-point deficit with 7:05 to go to take a 77-73 win at St. Bonaventure Saturday. GMU held SBU without a made field goal over those seven minutes.
•
Kory Mincy led the Patriots with a team-high 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-7 3pt), including GMU's final two made field goals. Mincy is averaging 20.0 points and shooting 56.4 percent over the past three games. He is second in the A-10 in scoring (16.9 ppg) and fifth in field goal percentage (.486).
•
Fatt Hill added 16 points and
Jahari Long dished out a career-best nine assists. It's the most assists by a Patriot since Ronald Polite III had nine in a Feb. 11, 2023, win over Rhode Island.
• The Patriots are the fastest George Mason team ever to win 20 games (in 22 chances). The previous record of 25 games was set in 2024-25, 2010-11, 2005-06 and 1983-84.
• In two wins last week, GMU outscored Davidson and St. Bona by a combined 26 points in the second half. The Patriots enjoy a +8.4 average scoring margin in second halves this season.
• GMU ranks 34th nationally in field goal percentage (.488) and features a top-100 KenPom offense (79th, 1.154 points/possession) for the first time since 2010-11.
• George Mason is 14-0 at home this season and 46-5 (.902) at EagleBank Arena under head coach
Tony Skinn ('06). The Patriots have won 14 straight A-10 home games, dating back to 2023-24.
• The Green & Gold lead the nation in FT rate (.482) and make 19.1 free throws/game (18th in the country).
• GMU is the only program in the A-10 to have two players ranked in the top-10 in both assists/game and A/TO ratio (J. Long, K. Mincy). In league play, Long's 3.1 A/TO ratio ranks second-best in the league.
• The Patriots enter Wednesday's game ranked 65th in the NET. GMU also is No. 76 in KenPom.
HISTORY vs. DUQUESNE
Wednesday's matchup marks the 18th all-time meeting between Mason and Duquesne. The Dukes lead the series 11-6 and have won nine of the past 10 games between the programs.
