HAMPTON, Va. – George Mason seniors
Aoun Al-Hiari (100 Fly) and
Tate Anderson (200 Free), and junior
Ian Rodgers (100 Back) each won a silver medal on the third day of competition at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships on Friday at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
The Patriots also won the gold in the 400-yard medley relay in the last event of the night.
Al-Hiari placed second in the Championship Final of the 100-yard butterfly (45.57), with freshman
Robert Dykman seventh in the event (48.06). Last year, Al-Hiari set a new team record in the event, but finished fourth.
Four Patriots were in the consolation final of the event, with junior
Colin Murtaugh and senior
Michael Bock in a three-way tie for first (48.06), sophomore
Gabriel Miller fifth (48.44) and freshman
Brendan Lao sixth (48.75).
Anderson medaled for the third straight year in the Championship Final of the 200-yard freestyle, winning the silver with a time of 1:34.12. Junior
Alex Crown just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish (1:36.10) and Dykman was seventh (1:38.73).
In the consolation final of the event, graduate student
Agustin Rasche placed second (1:38.93), junior
Cody Scifres fourth (1:39.14) and junior
Ian Jones seventh (1:39.86).
In the Championship Final of the 100-yard backstroke, Rodgers claimed the silver with a time of 46.68. In the consolation final, senior
Jett Lee placed seventh (49.86).
In Championship Final of the 100-yard breaststroke, senior
Jack Chapman took fourth (54.22). In the consolation final, Bock finished third (55.37).
The Patriots also won the gold in the 400-yard medley relay, with the team of Rodgers, Chapman, Al-Hiari and Anderson taking the top spot on the podium (3:08.34). Anderson, Al-Hiari and Rodgers won the bronze in the event last year.
In the Championship Final of the three-meter diving event, sophomore
Caden Guy placed fifth (319.70).  In the consolation final, junior
Christian Anderson was first (311.40).
On the women's side, senior
Ainsley Toews placed eighth in the Championship Final of the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.17).
In the consolation final of the 100-yard butterfly, senior
Peyton Brehmer was fourth (55.36) and classmate
Angelina Zeidan finished eighth (56.27). In the consolation final of the 400-yard IM, junior
Kristen Ivey placed fifth (4:27.44) and junior
Casey Tingen was sixth (4:30.83).
Freshman
Madelyn Abel finished fourth in the consolation final of the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.69).
In the consolation final of the 100-yard backstroke, freshman
Sidney Kaufman took second (55.38), sophomore
Greta Mott touched the wall sixth (56.29) and Tingen was eighth (56.90).
On the men's side, George Washington has the lead (535.33), with George Mason second (410.16) and St. Bonaventure third (351.50). La Salle is fourth (317) followed by Davidson (274), Fordham (239) and Saint Louis (229).
On the women's side, Richmond has the lead (399) with George Washington second (376.50) and Duquesne third (355.50). La Salle is fourth (324) followed by St. Bonaventure (237), Fordham (229), Rhode Island (163), George Mason (148), Davidson (130) and Saint Louis (91). Â

The Atlantic 10 Championships conclude on Saturday with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
