Brayden O'Connor will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season as he recovers from a foot injury.
O'Connor had surgery on the foot in November after sustaining the injury in the season opener vs. Wofford. He will look to obtain a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA.
A 2025-26 Preseason All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection, O'Connor started all 36 games for George Mason at point guard in 2024-25 and ranked second on the Patriots at 28.1 minutes/game while leading the team in assists/contest (3.0). He also was third on the team in scoring (9.1 ppg) and shot 37.4 percent from 3pt range.
