FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason women's soccer graduate student forward Aaliyah Schinaman has been called up to the Philippine Women's National Football Team (PWNT) as part of preparations for the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup, the Philippine Football Federation announced.
Schinaman has been invited to participate in a series of three pre-competition national team training camps in the Philippines running throughout February. The camps are scheduled for February 1-5, February 6-15, and February 17-22, after which a final 26-player roster will be selected to represent the Philippines at the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia.
Training will take place in three different locations around the country: Pasay City, Balesin Island, and Manila. Following the selection process, the PWNT will travel to Australia to compete in the continental tournament from March 1-21, 2026, with matches held in Perth and the Gold Coast.
A graduate transfer, Schinaman joined the Patriots in the 2025 season after beginning her collegiate career at University of California - Berkeley. Schinaman played and started in 13 matches for the Patriots and amassed 888 minutes.
