FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason heads to Western New York for the first of two games vs. St. Bonaventure this season on Saturday.

Tip-off between the Patriots and Bonnies is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday's game will be broadcast nationally on USA Network, featuring commentary from Steve Burkowski and Zendon Hamilton. In addition, Voice of the Patriots Bill Rohland will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with streaming coverage beginning at 6:15 p.m.

PATRIOT POINTS
• The Patriots are 19-2 for the first time in school history and started A-10 play 6-0 for the first time in program annals. The team is 7-1 in conference for the second straight year. GMU also is one of just 12 programs nationally to have 19 or more wins.

• Since the start of the 2024-25 season, George Mason leads the A-10 and ranks t-9th nationally in total wins (46).

• George Mason is 24-4 (.857) in its last 28 A-10 games dating back to the 2023-24 campaign. That's the best stretch by an A-10 school in league contests since Dayton went 26-3 from 2019-21.

• The Patriots improved to 14-0 at home this season with a 60-52 win over Davidson Wednesday. GMU held the Wildcats to just 18 second half points and 27.8 percent shooting in the period to claim the victory.

Kory Mincy led the Patriots with a game-high 19 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3pt) to go with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.  Mincy is averaging 19.0 points and shooting 53.3 percent from deep over the past two games. He is second in the A-10 in scoring (16.6 ppg) and sixth in 3pt FG made per game (2.43).

Fatt Hill scored eight of his 14 points in the final five minutes and dished out three assists in the victory.

• George Mason is 3-1 in A-10 road games this season after posting a 6-3 mark in league away contests in 2024-25.

• GMU trailed Davidson 34-28 at the half Wednesday but held a +14 (32-18) scoring edge in the second stanza. The Patriots enjoy a +8.2 average scoring margin in second halves this season and have scored more second half points than their foe in 18 of 21 games.

• GMU is the only program in the A-10 to have two players ranked in the top-10 in both assists/game and A/TO ratio (J. Long, K. Mincy).

• A win Saturday would get the Patriots to 20 wins faster than any team in program history. The current record of 25 games has been set four times in school annals.

• The Patriots enter Saturday's game ranked 66th in the NET. GMU also is No. 76 in KenPom.

HISTORY vs. ST. BONAVENTURE
Saturday's matchup marks the 19th all-time meeting between Mason and SBU. The Bonnies hold a 12-6 advantage in the series, including an 11-4 edge since Mason joined the A-10 in 2013-14. However, the Patriots have won three of the past four meetings. Last season, George Mason won at the Reilly Center for the first time since 2004 while claiming a 75-62 victory on January 21, 2025. The Patriots jumped out to a 33-15 lead at the 7:04 mark of the first half and the Bonnies would not move closer than nine for the remainder of the game. Zach Anderson led GMU with 17 points. He knocked down 5-of-8 3-pointers and 6-of-9 shots overall in the win.

St. Bona dropped the first five games of A-10 play but have since won two of their last three. SBU is third in the A-10 and 43rd nationally in 3pt percentage (.368) and leads the conference in FT percentage (.763). Darryl Simmons II ranks fourth in the A-10 in scoring (16.2 ppg) and is 28th nationally in 3pt percentage (.421).
