The second quarter saw George Mason firmly in command, sparked by Kennedy Harris's jumper, assisted by Walton at 9:21, setting the stage for a robust scoring burst. Harris continued her hot hand with a 3-pointer, assisted by Brown at 8:27, triggering an 8-0 run and widening the gap. Though Davidson briefly responded, but the Patriots kept their foot on the gas with another 3-pointer from Harris at 2:22, assisted by MJ Johnson. The quarter ended with George Mason outscoring Davidson 18-14, leading 35-27 at the half.

The Patriots surged further ahead in the third quarter, showcasing both defensive tenacity and offensive flair. Walton delivered early with a jumper and two free throws, extending the lead.
