In a match full of nationally-ranked wrestlers, the Navy Midshippen defeated George Mason, 30-9, today in Annapolis. The Patriots fall to 5-3, while the Mid-Shipmen improved to 3-4.

Navy has seven wrestlers, while George Mason has four wrestlers nationally-ranked in the top 33.  The Patriots won three matches by decision from three of its ranked players, #19 Kaden Cassidy, #21 DJ McGee, and #31 Malachi DuVall. Logan Messer, ranked #33, fell to Navy's highest-ranked wrestler and All-American #9 Danny Wask at 174 pounds.

Cassidy defeated Kaemen Smith, 10-5 to get the Patriots on the board after Navy won the first three matches. At 157, McGee won in Sudden Victory against Jonathan Ley, 4-1, while Malachi DuVall outlasted Gage Yackee, 1-0.
