Jaume Salvado recorded the shutout to lift the Patriots past Loyola Chicago, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at Loyola Soccer Park in Chicago, Ill.
George Mason (4-3-1, 1-0-1 Atlantic 10) took the lead over Loyola Chicago (3-3-3, 1-1-0 Atlantic 10) in the 12th minute of play.
Jordi Navio Sanchez took a shot toward the upper left corner of the net that was punched by the Ramblers goalkeeper. Sanfeliu made a great play to keep the ball from going out of bounds on the rebound and sent the ball into the six-yard box, where Eliuda tapped the ball into the back of the net from the goal line for his second goal of the season to put the Patriots in front, 1-0.
Salvado was tested in the 63rd minute but made a big save to deny the Ramblers the equalizer. Loyola Chicago attempted 10 of its 12 shots for the game in the second half.
In the 74th minute, Sereno took a pass from Sanfeliu and raced down the right side and created in the run of play before scoring his team-leading fifth goal of the season past the diving Ramblers goalkeeper to increase the lead to 2-0.Â
Janssen took advantage of a Ramblers turnover and scored his third goal of the season with 13 seconds remaining in the match for the 3-0 final score. He's tallied three goals in the last two games.
The Patriots handed the Ramblers just their third shutout loss at home in the last four years.

Eliuda (90 minutes) scored his second goal of the season on his lone shot of the match. Sanfeliu (85 minutes) notched a pair of assists and took three shots. Navio Sanchez (90 minutes) took three shots with one on frame.
