Atlantic 10 release

FAIRFAX, Va.- Graduate student goalkeeper Jaume Salvado was named Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced on Monday.

Savado, from Barcelona, Spain, made eight saves in the Patriots 1-0 road victory over UMBC on Saturday, Sept. 20.  The eight saves are the most that he has recorded in a match as a Patriot, and the shutout is the eighth career clean sheet that he has notched with the Green and Gold.
