United Soccer Coaches Poll
FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team is ranked 22nd in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and 23rd in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll, released today.

It marks the second straight season that the Patriots have earned a national ranking. Prior to the 2024 season, George Mason last appeared in the United Soccer Coaches poll in September 2014.Â
The Patriots defeated then No. 11 Virginia, 4-1, in the home opener on Thursday, Aug. 20 in front of a crowd of 3,077 at George Mason Stadium. The victory marked the highest-ranked win by the Patriots in 14 years. The win also marked the second-highest seed that George Mason has beaten since they took down No. 2 Maryland on September 29, 2009. It's the seventh win over a top-20 team in program history.
