George Mason and William & Mary battled in out in a very physical first half. The Patriots struck first in the 43^rd minute with a goal by Mia Arevalo-Delcid, her first of the season, assisted by Isabella Yousefi, tallying her first assist.
 
The high-intensity match picked up right where it left off in the second half. The Tribe evened the contest at one goal apiece, with Lindsay Wilson finding the back of the net in the 74^th minute.
 
George Mason and William & Mary had plenty of chances by way of corner kicks, but neither side could convert. The Tribe had the advantage in corner kicks 4-2, and 8-6 on total shots.
