MALLORCA, Spain – The Spanish National Team has announced that Paula Suárez '25 will join their B Team in training with the Senior Team in preparations for the Imperium Nostrum Tour, the lead up to EuroBasket 2025.
 
Suárez, a four-year letter-winner and co-captain of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship team, played on the U16 and U17 Spanish National Teams before coming to Fairfax.
 
In a press release, the Spanish Federation explained the B Team will join the Senior Team in Mallorca, Spain for their training camp, with the intention of getting younger players some experience and creating a smooth transition for them to a Senior Team roster in the future.
 
With the Patriots, Suárez averaged 7.2 points at a 40.6% clip, 3.1 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game over her four years. She helped George Mason win their first conference championship and secured the program's first NCAA Tournament berth. Suárez scored a career-high 25 points in her career finale in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Florida State.
 
The training camp will take place from May 19-25, and the camp will conclude with a closed-door scrimmage between the Senior Team and the B Team.
