Fairfax, Va.- George Mason complete the regular season with a conference win against the University of Charleston.

Giomar Collazo, and Bobbby Fowler all were celebrated for Senior Night and left the RAC with their heads held high.
Liam French continued his form from last night's match, racking up the kills to lead the Patriots ahead of the Golden Eagles.
Evan Snodgrass and
Alexander Lillie also were crucial in both offense and defense once again. The Patriots took the first set, 25-20, with a .286 hitting percentage. The Golden Eagles struggled offensively with only a 0.083 hitting.
The second set was a closer game with both teams fighting for the lead and ultimately be tied at 21-21. The Patriots were able to close out the second set with four attacking errors by the University of Charleston. The hitting percentage for Charleston improved to 0.308 but the Patriots also improved their hitting, their final number was .500.
The University of Charleston took the third set with George Mason struggling in the offense recording a 0.182 hitting. The Golden Eagles were inspired by Kai Cousins, a freshman who caused many problems for the Patriot's defense.
A fourth set was forced and the offensive trio of
Liam French,
Jackson Herbert, and
Giomar Collazo rose up to the occasion. With a solidified wall of
Evan Snodgrass and
Alexander Lillie, the Patriots hung on to their lead and won the fourth set 25-21.
By the numbers:
- Liam French or the second game straight led the team in kills with 13
- Giomar Collazo recorded two more aces tonight to have 31 total aces this season
- Freshman Alexander Lillie led the team in blocks with six followed by Evan Snodgrass who had five
- Troy McDonald's final game at the RAC had him with 43 assists and also led in the digs category with six

George Mason will be traveling to Princeton, NJ to compete in the EIVA Tournament. Their opponent is yet to be determined. George Mason will have to wait in the result between Harvard and NJIT to figure out who they will be facing in the First Round.
