Fairfax, Va.- George Mason track and field have completed their weekend's test at the Darius Dixon Invitational in preparation for the A10 Indoor Championships happening in two weeks.
Gavin Mogck competed in the 5,000m run and finished with a time of 14:44.54 which was fast enough to include in the George Mason all-time list at number 10. Elllie Desmond, another distance runner, continues to write her name in another event in the all-time list. Ellie finished the 3,000m run with a time of 9:40.05, placing her 8
th all-time and 6
th in the A10 conference.
Mia Suero reached a new personal best in the 60m dash with a time of 7.58. Her time was quick enough to also introduce herself to the history books. Mia now has the 10
th fastest time in George Mason history and 5
th in the A10 conference.
Other notable performances at the Darius Dixon Invitational include
Joshua Sutton in the high jump reaching his previous personal best of 2.05m.
Geni Roberts continues to dominate in the horizontal jumps, this time in the long jump event. Geni jumped a distance of 7.31m to finish in third at the Darius Dixon invitational.
Kennedy Drish also continues to impress in the pole vault with a mark of 3.94m to finish in third as well.
