Camryn Weldon and redshirt-sophomore middle blocker
Meredith Brown were selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team.
Weldon, a junior Business major with a concentration in finance from McKinney, Texas, earned the honor with a 3.89 GPA at George Mason. She appeared in 98 sets over 27 matches this season, recording 470 assists (including her 1,000th with the Green & Gold), 207 digs, 24 service aces, and 27 kills.
Brown, a redshirt-sophomore Biology major from Crestwood, Kentucky, earned the honor after registering a 4.0 GPA as a Patriot. She appeared in all 120 sets over 30 matches that the Green & Gold competed in this season, while recording 207 kills, 104 blocks, and 267.5 points.
Both Brown and Weldon played a big role in helping the Patriots to their first A-10 Tournament appearance since 2018 and the program's best record since 2009.
To be honored as a CSC Academic All-District® Team member, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale and compete in 90 percent of an institution's matches or start at least 66 percent of the contests.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
