FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's basketball head coach
Tony Skinn ('06) announced Thursday that Peyton Miller has signed a national letter of intent to compete for the Patriots, beginning in 2026-27.
A 6-foot-3-inch guard from Atlanta, Ga., Miller competes for Rod Wave Elite as part of the Overtime Elite league.
"I really like Peyton's game," Skinn said. "He's a guy who fits into our ball screen offense. He has great size and can create for himself and his teammates. He also defends, and that's who we are, so finding guards who can impact both ends of the floor makes our job a lot easier. His decision to play his senior year at Overtime Elite shows his commitment to his craft. I think he has a chance to be a great player."
Miller suited up for George School in Pennsylvania to begin his high school career, where he earned First Team All-Friends League honors in 2024-25 and helped lead the program to an undefeated regular season for the first time in school history. He averaged 19 points per game en route to his all-league accolades.
Miller played his AAU ball for City Rocks in the Nike EYBL. He has earned the nickname "Mr. 7:30" for his relentless work ethic and early morning skill development sessions.
Miller joins forward Shane Pendergrass (Upper Marlboro, Md.) in Coach Skinn's Class of 2026.
