FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's team is third and the women's team fourth after the first day of competition at the Patriot Invitational.
On the men's side, Florida Atlantic has the lead (214) with Towson second (210) and George Mason third (190). Marist is fourth (154) followed by Monmouth (150), American (128) and Marymount (68).
The Patriots took second in the 800-yard freestyle relay with the team of senior

Ryan Serbia finishing with a time of 6:33.29).
In the 200-yard medley relay, the combination of graduate student
Agustin Rasche, senior
Jack Chapman and
Aoun Al-Hiari, and junior
Ian Rodgers placed fourth with a time of 1:28.11.
On the women's side, Florida Atlantic leads (216) with Towson second (204) and Richmond third (176). George Mason is fourth (160) followed by American (152), Marist (146) and Monmouth (88).

Day two of the Patriot Invitational is Thursday, Nov. 20 with prelims scheduled for 10 a.m., diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 6 p.m. at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va.
