FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball team (4-0) wraps up its season opening 5-game homestand with a Tuesday night contest vs. Jacksonville (2-2).
MEDIA COVERAGE
Tuesday's game will be streamed nationally on ESPN+, featuring commentary from Voice of the Patriots Bill Rohland and former All-CAA forward Will Thomas. In addition,
Steve Kolbe will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with streaming coverage beginning at 6:45 p.m.

• It's a campus game for the 2025 Sunshine Slam. The Patriots will soon head to Daytona Beach, Fla., to battle Ohio on Nov. 24 and either Florida Atlantic or Loyola Marymount on Nov. 25. Both contests will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
• George Mason is 4-0 to begin the season for the first time since 2021-22 after dispatching of New Hampshire 61-44 on Saturday.

Dola Adebayo led the Patriots with season highs in points (14), rebounds (8) and blocks (3). He also grabbed a career-best four steals in the win.

• George Mason entered Saturday's game shooting 45.3 percent from 3pt range on the season, but a 2-for-20 showing against the Wildcats prevented the win from reaching a 20+ point margin.

Tony Skinn's Patriot Pressure defense has returned this season, as the Green & Gold rank 20th nationally in scoring defense (60.5 ppg), 21st in 2pt defense (.415) and are 37th in FG defense (.367).

Brayden O'Connor (foot) has played just 14 minutes due to a foot injury.

Tuesday's game marks the first ever meeting between George Mason and Jacksonville in men's basketball.
HISTORY vs. ATLANTIC SUN OPPONENTS
Tuesday's game marks George Mason's eighth all time contest against a team currently in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Patriots are 5-2 all time against the league and have most commonly played Austin Peay (3-0) and Queens (2-0). One of the victories over the Governors came in the 2004 NIT Round of 32. The most recent matchup with an ASUN foe came in Coach Skinn's first season, when the Patriots knocked off Austin Peay 67-45 on November 10, 2023.

Jacksonville was picked to finish sixth in the 2025-26 America East preseason poll. The Dolphins are 2-2 to begin the campaign, with both losses coming to top-100 foes Miami (Fla.) (86-69) and High Point (85-64). Jacksonville takes 31.3 3-pointers per game (31st nationally) and ranks 12th in the nation in bench scoring (42.5 points/game). Preseason All-Atlantic Sun selection Chris Arias ranks seventh in the conference in scoring (15.5 ppg) and leads the league in both triples per game (4.25) and 3pt percentage (.515).
