WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Patriots are making the short trip to the nation's capital for a midweek matchup against Revolutionary-rival George Washington on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. inside the Smith Center.

The Green & Gold enter the contest on a five-match win streak and are off to their best start to conference play since joining the Atlantic 10, sitting at 4-0 after back-to-back victories over Saint Louis and Duquesne. 

The Patriots and Revolutionaries have met 64 times, with George Washington holding a 49-15 advantage in the all-time series. GW won both matchups last season. 

The Revs went 7-5 in non-conference play, and have started the A-10 season 3-1, including a win over last year's A-10 Tournament Champions, Loyola Chicago. Sophomores Alexis Rodriguez and Taylor Treahy have both picked up an A-10 Offensive Player of the Week award this year.
