FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at William & Mary on Tuesday night in Williamsburg, Va.

Both the Patriots (6-4-2, 3-2-1 Atlantic 10) and Tribe (2-8-4, 1-4-1 CAA) played their final non-conference match of the season.  George Mason hosts Saint Joseph's for Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 25 and wraps up the regular season with a road match at Duquesne on Saturday, Nov. 1 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Redshirt-junior goalkeeper Jack Desroches made three saves, two in the first half, to record his first NCAA shutout.  Freshman defender Cristian Ramos made the start in his collegiate debut, played all 90 minutes and registered the Patriots lone shot on goal.  Graduate student midfielder Kenzo Brito (51 minutes) made his first start with the Green and Gold.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

The Tribe outshot the Patriots, 11-8, including a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal.  George Mason had eight corner kicks while William & Mary did not have a corner kick in the match.

Graduate student defender Javi Sanchez, graduate student midfielder Sergio Gonzalez Fernandez and junior midfielder Javier Montava each logged 90 minutes.  Eight different Patriots recorded a shot in the match.

The Patriots play their final home game of the regular season when they host Saint Joseph's on Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 25 with the opening kick scheduled for 7 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
