RICHMOND, Va. – The Patriots are headed to Richmond this weekend to take on the VCU Rams, with games on Friday, October 17 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 18 at 4 p.m.
The Patriots and Rams are 38-32, historically. George Mason is looking for their first win over VCU since 2022 this weekend.
The Rams are 8-7 this season, 6-1 in the A-10. Though their 2-6 non-conference record seems rough, VCU played four power conference opponents in the non-conference (going 1-3) and are currently ranked 165th in the NCAA RPI rankings. At 6-1, they are tied with the Patriots and two other teams for second place in the A-10. So far in conference play, the Rams have swept Saint Louis and Rhode Island, split with Duquesne, and beat Davidson in a midweek matchup.
