Fairfax, Va.- George Mason achieve their first win of the 2025 season and extend their home winning streak to 12 games.
Queens University of Charlotte surprised the Patriots in the first set taking a huge lead of 18-10. George Mason attempted to make a comeback by cutting the lead down to just two points but the Royals reached the 25
th point and took the first set.

Jackson Herbert all stepped up their game in the second set. The match went back and forth with the game still being tied at 22-22. The Patriots were able to find the lead and reached the 25
th point first with a kill by
Jackson Herbert.
The Royal's gears were still working in the third set, keeping the score close with the Patriots. The Royals scored the 13
thpoint to only by two points away from George Mason, but that is when the Patriots ran away with the lead. Six unanswered points by George Mason with kills by

Evan Snodgrass, and two service aces by Derek Nagle. Derek Nagle was the super sub making a huge impact in the game and gave the confidence for the Patriots to close out the set.

Evan Snodgrass were crucial for the Patriots to take home the fourth set 25-19. Exceptional performances by the freshmen
