WILLIAMSBURG, Va, - The George Mason women's volleyball team lost their final two games of the weekend to Bucknell, 0-3, and William & Mary, 2-3.
In their morning game, the Patriots (2-4) lost to the Bucknell Bison (5-1) in straight sets: 17-25, 16-25, 11-25. Senior
Ewelina Gacek led the Green & Gold with 6 kills and 6 digs. Red-shirt junior
Damiana Bova-Ford added 14 assists and 4 digs.
In their final game of the weekend, the Patriots took the host William & Mary Tribe (3-3) to five sets, but ultimately lost, 2-3: 25-18, 18-25, 25-27, 26-24, 7-15. Junior
Haley Graetz led the Patriots with a career-high 13 kills and 4 blocks. Sophomore
Chelsea Colter added 9 kills and 8 blocks. Bova-Ford and sophomore
Camryn Weldon both tallied 22 assists, as well.
