Fairfax, Va.- Three former Patriots have put pen to paper to continue playing volleyball overseas. Jack Bolz was the latest Patriot to be signed professionally by Vitoria SC located in Portugal. Paul Wyszynski will make Poland his new home, signing for Czarni Radom. Omar Hoyos was the first Patriot to have signed a professional contract with Club Voleibol Teruel in Spain. All three players were crucial for the successful season that George Mason experienced last season, including going undefeated at the RAC.

Quotable:
"I am proud of our three seniors from last year that signed to play professional volleyball overseas! Having players of that quality come from our program not only shows the quality of athletes they have become, but more so about the passion they share for continuing to play at the highest level possible. I have no doubt that they will make positive impacts on their new teams, and play for many years to come", said head coach Jay Hosack.

Jack Bolz concluded his George Mason career with 256 kills, 99 digs, and 38 total blocks. He was named into the EIVA Second Team All-Conference, EIVA All-Academic, EIVA Offensive Player of the Week (4/1), and the AVCA National Player of the Week (4/1). One of his best games was in the EIVA Championship vs Penn State recording 20 kills, four digs, one service ace, one block, and scoring 21.5 points. His performance during the EIVA Tournament landed his name into the EIVA All-Tournament Team.

Paul Wyszynski played the most sets from the team with 107 in 28 games. Paul recorded 199 digs with a reception percentage of .952. He was crucial to George Mason's defense and was an unmovable piece to the squad. Paul was awarded the EIVA Defensive Player of the Week (3/11), EIVA Second Team All-Conference, and was an All-American Honorable Mention.

Omar Hoyos was the main man for George Mason playing 106 sets in 28 games and has set many records during his time with the Patriots. In his final season, Omar led the team in kills with 343 and in service aces with 58. Hoyos also added 40 assists, 43 total blocks, and 176 digs to his name.
