FAIRFAX, Va. – The women's volleyball program starts their Atlantic 10 play by hosting VCU on Friday and Saturday.
The Patriots and Rams are 38-30 historically, including two matches last season that VCU won. The Patriots haven't beaten the Rams since 2022, and are 3-15 since joining the A-10.
The Rams are 2-6 on the season, with their wins coming against Winthrop and Coastal Carolina. They are picked to finish third in the conference this year. The Rams are led by Julia Rienks with 85 kills and 102 points.

- Last week, the Patriots beat the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs, 3-1, to finish their non-conference season 5-7. The five wins is the most non-conference wins the Patriots have tallied since 2015.
- Senior Olyvia Kennedy continues to lead the team in kills with 115.
- The setting-duo of redshirt junior Damiana Bova-Ford and sophomore Camryn Weldon continue to rack up the assists. Weldon currently has 241 and Bova-Ford has tallied 222 so far this season.
- Sophomore Autumn Martinez-Robinson is getting it done off the serve and on the floor, currently leading the team in service aces (26) and digs (175).
- Sophomore Chelsea Colter has been leading the block party with 46 total blocks on the season, nearly double the next closest player.
