The George Mason Patriots ended their last match in a draw against Virginia Commonwealth University. The VCU Rams had eight total shots in the first half to score but the Patriot's goalkeeper
Victoria Coninck had two big saves to keep the Rams scoreless. The Patriots had two shots in the first half, with one of those being on goal. In the second half, both teams played great defense. The Patriots goalkeeper made two more saves and the Rams only allowed three more shots with none of them on goal.
VCU had the advantage in total shots 13-5 and in corner kicks 7-4. The Patriots played aggressive defense today only allowing two more shots on goal in the second half.

Junior goalkeeper Batoul Reda collected four saves in the shutout win, freshman Lauren Fields dished out her first career assist, one of three assists in the match for UD, and junior transfer Aya Saiki scored her first career goal as a Flyer.
