FAIRFAX, VA. – The George Mason women's soccer team (2-5-2) play the Fordham Rams (5-2-1) Thursday, September 19th, at 7 p.m. in the George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, VA. This will be the Patriots first Atlantic 10 Conference match up.

LAST TIME OUT
Last game the Patriots lost to the Blue Hens of the University of Delaware 4-0. The Blue Hens came out quick, Brooke Vogel scored the first goal of the game just six minutes in to the match. The Patriots turned up the defense and only let Delaware score one more time in the first half. The second half was quiet until the 74th minute when the Blue Hens Maggie Groh scored, assisted by Carly Binn. Delaware kept pushing and scored a last minute goal in the 88th minute to go up 4-0. Patriots goalkeeper Victoria Coninck had four total saves on the day. The Blue Hens had a 18-2 advantage on shots and a 6-3 advantage on corner kicks.

SCOUTING FORDHAM
Last game the Fordham Rams lost to Columbia 2-0. Fordham had a couple of chances to break through, the best of which was a shot by Julie Acosta in the 74^th minute that hit the crossbar. Columbia outshot Fordham 9-6 and had the advantage on corner kicks 10-4.
