FAIRFAX, VA. – The George Mason women's soccer team (2-4-2) play the Blue Hens of the University of Delaware (1-4-2) Sunday, September 15th, at 1 p.m. in Newark, Delaware. This will be the Patriots fifth time traveling this season.
LAST TIME OUT
Last game the Patriots played No. 24 Liberty University and lost 6-0. The Flames exploded out of the gate, tallying four goals in the first 11 minutes to coast to a 6-0 win on Thursday. The Lady Flames (8-0-1) tallied a season-high six goals, all with different scorers, to top the Patriots. Goalkeeper
Victoria Coninck made her season debut, playing 72 minutes and having five saves on the night.
Sydney Dacus also made her season debut playing 17 minutes.
SCOUTING DELAWARE
Last time out the Blue Hens tied 1-1 against Penn. Paige Kenton scored the only goal for Delaware making that her second goal of the season. Goalkeeper Kyla Burns played all 90 minutes and recorded three saves on the night. The Blue Hens recorded a season high 20 shots on the day, with six of them being from Kenton.
