FAIRFAX, VA- The George Mason Patriots earned their second win of the season in an exciting game against the Maryland Terrapins.
The Patriots were down 2-0 in the first half until a goal by
Michi Hooks assisted by
Katelyn O'Donnell in the 37th minute finally put The Patriots on the board. Going into the second half The Patriots evened the score in the 47th minute with a goal from
Kiyomi McCausland assisted by
Milan Pierre-Jerome.
The most electric moment of the game was
Milan Pierre-Jerome scoring a goal in the 87th minute assisted by
Zoë Vidaurre to give The Patriots the lead and the win at the end of the game.
Milan Pierre-Jerome finished the game with one goal and one assist, and goalkeeper Caldart Selamawit made seven saves to help The Patriots secure the win.
