FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason's first home game of the season ends with a 3-0 loss. William and Mary record their first win of the season, while the Patriots are still searching for their first win. 
 
There was only one goal in the first half, scored by Ivey Crain assisted by Leah Iglesias. The tribe continued to attack in the second half and scored an early goal in the 47^th minute to have a more secure lead, 2-0. George Mason was fighting back and Selamawit Caldart kept the game at 2-0 for as long as she could. 
 
Selamawit Caldart made seven saves to keep the Patriots in the game. The Tribe kept attacking looking for the third goal, and they achieved it in the 85^th minute. Sheridan Brummett scored the third goal to put the game away.
