FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason graduate student Luis Maestre has been selected to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced on Wednesday.
 
Maestre, a native of Elche, Spain, started all 15 games for the Patriots last season.  He scored five goals and added nine assists for 19 points.  Maestre led the club in assists (9), points (19) and game-winning goals (2), tied for first in goals (5), was second in minutes played by a field player (1317), tied for second in shots on goal (9) and was third in shots (19).
 
Among league leaders during the 2023 campaign, Maestre finished second in assists (9) and sixth in points (19).
 
The Preseason All-Conference Team is selected by the league's head coaches.
