FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team released its 2024 season schedule today. The 19-game regular season will feature 10 home games and nine away matches, as well as nine non-conference games and 10 conference games.
The Patriots will play one home exhibition game against Hampton on Saturday, Aug. 10, in order to get themselves ready for the regular season opener five days later.
George Mason will kick off the 2024 campaign with three consecutive road matches, starting with Elon on Aug. 15, followed by Campbell on Aug. 18 and Howard four days later on Aug. 22.
Following their initial trio of road games, the Green and Gold will host the next three games. All home matches will be played at George Mason Stadium.
The home opener will be against William & Mary on Sunday, Aug. 25. Four days later, on Aug. 29, Northern Colorado will come to Fairfax for the first time for a Thursday matchup. Regional foe Maryland will round out the final game of the initial homestand on Sunday, Sept. 1.
George Mason will finish off their final three non-conference games with an alternating away-and-home schedule. They will start with an away match at Old Dominion (Sept. 5), followed by Liberty (Home, Sept. 12) then Delaware (Away, Sept. 15).
The Patriots will play their first Atlantic 10 Conference game at home, as they will host Fordham on Sept. 19. They will then travel south to VCU for their conference road opener on Sept. 22.
To finish the month of September, George Mason will host Dayton on Thursday, Sept. 26, before crossing the Potomac to face off against rival George Washington on Sunday, Sept. 29.
After hosting La Salle for a Thursday game on Oct. 3, the Patriots will play their final two road games of the regular season, starting with St. Bonaventure on Oct. 6. George Mason will then take 10 days off to rest.
The final four games will interchange between away and home matches, starting with a road game at Saint Joseph's in Philadelphia on Thursday, Oct. 17. Richmond will come to Fairfax later that Sunday (Oct. 20).
The Patriots' final road game of the regular season will be on Thursday, Oct. 24, when they travel to St. Louis, Mo., to face the Billikens. The season finale will be at home against Duquesne on Sunday, Oct. 27.
The Atlantic 10 Tournament dates are still to be determined.

George Mason Women's Soccer regular season home games will require a ticket for entry. Tickets will be $10 and are available for purchase online in advance, calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 703-993-3270, or by purchasing at the George Mason Stadium Gate. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more as well as George Mason faculty and staff.
