Fairfax, Va.- Omar Hoyos and Paul Wyszynski were named as All-American Honorable Mentions today by AVCA. Both players were key for Mason's run at achieving the EIVA #2 seed, stay ranked nationally in the top 20 all season, and reaching the EIVA Championships. 
 
Omar Hoyos was the main man for George Mason leading the team with 343 kills, 58 service aces, .283 hitting, 424.5 points scored, 43 blocks, and 176 digs. Omar Hoyos adds to his collection of awards this season after being named into the All-EIVA First Team, EIVA All-Tournament team, and Offensive Player of the Week. 
 
Paul Wyszynski was a key part of George Mason's defense playing all 107 sets that were in dispute this season. Paul led the team in digs with 199, recording 1.86 digs per set. His reception percentage was near perfection ending the season with a .952 percentage. Paul was also recognized by the EIVA Conference with a spot on the All-EIVA Second Team and an EIVA Defensive Player of the Week.
