CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the 2024 Wrestling Academic All MAC Team. A total of nine student-athletes were named to this year's squad.

Cleveland State led the way with a total of 11 student-athletes on the team, while George Mason followed with nine honorees, including three repeat honorees.
 
Paul Pierce is a three-time MAC All-Academic, while Malachi DuVall and Tyler Kocak earned the accolade for the second time.

The nine recipients is the second-most for the Patriots in the five-year history in the MAC. Mason had 10 honorees last season. 
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
