• The Patriots have won three straight and are coming off a 71-67 win over #16/16 Dayton Wednesday night in Fairfax. It's the highest-ranked regular season win for the Patriots in program history and Mason's first ever triumph over a ranked foe at home.

• Dayton is the highest-ranked opponent to fall at the hands of the Patriots since Mason's 2006 Elite Eight win over No. 2 UConn.

• Freshman Baraka Okojie tallied a career-best 19 points, all of which came in the deciding second half, to lead Mason. The talented rookie is averaging 10.8 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals and shooting 55.3 percent over the Patriots' past nine games.

• Sophomore Keyshawn Hall added 19 points (9-10 FT) and grabbed six rebounds. He ranks third in the A-10 in scoring in league contests (19.3 ppg). Hall is averaging 8.0 free throws made over the past four games at an 88.9 percent clip (32-36).

• During Mason's 3-game win streak, the Patriots are shooting 49.3 percent from the floor while limiting foes to just 38.7 percent and 63.0 points/game.

• Over the 3-0 stretch, Mason also has enjoyed significant increases in production from reserves Austin Ball (6.0 ppg, 58.3 FG%, 17.9 mpg), Malik Henry (4.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 75.0 FG%, 15.7 mpg) and Tre' Wood (5.0 ppg, 54.5 FG%, 14.0 mpg).

• The Green & Gold posted a +6 (33-27) rebounding margin against the Flyers and are now 17-3 when holding the rebounding edge this season. The Patriots have outrebounded their opponent by an average of 9.5 over the past four games and lead the A-10 in overall rebounding margin (+5.0).

The Patriots made 59.5 percent of their field goal attempts (22-37) and shot 52.9 percent from deep (9-17) while holding a +6 edge at the free throw line. But the Green & Gold turned it over 17 times and Loyola posted a +13 (19-6) advantage in points off turnovers for the game.
