WASHINGTON, D.C. and FAIRFAX, Va. - For the first time this season, sophomore Kennedy Harris has been named the Atlantic 10 women's basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov 25 - Dec 1. The Patriots also land at #45 in the first NET rankings of the year.

The Hampton, Va. native averaged 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists this weekend. She shot 51.4% from the floor, 60% from behind the arc, and 75% from the free throw line as well.

Against Navy, Harris once again led the pack with 25 points, including 5-6 from the three-point line. She also added six rebounds, and the first block of her season.

Harris currently averages 18.3 ppg at a .495 clip on the season. She's third in points per game in the Atlantic 10, just 0.2 points off the leader.

Last season, Harris was named Rookie of the Week four times and was named to the All-Rookie team at the end of the season. Before the 2024-25 season, she was named to the A-10 Presason Third Team.

In the first NET rankings of the year, the George Mason Patriots are ranked #45, the highest the program has ever been ranked, besting last year's program-high, #48. They are currently ranked third among A-10 teams in the NET, with Richmond (#19) and Saint Joseph's (#40) above them.
