FAIRFAX, Va. – A dominant third quarter helped lift the Patriots to a 76-55 win over the Towson Tigers on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers kept it close in the first half, the Patriots only led by four headed into the locker room. But whatever was said at halftime worked, as the Patriots went on a 26-6 run in the third quarter, building a lead that they maintained the rest of the game.
Sophomore
Kennedy Harris led Mason with 17 points, a career-high seven assists, six rebounds, and three steals in 29 minutes of play. Harris has set a new career high in assists in both of Mason's games this season.
Junior
Zahirah Walton tallied 14 points on the night, the second most on the team. 12 of those 14 points came in the third quarter helping lead the team's 26-point performance.
The Patriots shot near 50% from the floor, bringing their two-game season average to 50.9%.
