Fairfax, Va. -- The George Mason wrestling team will host the annual Mason Duals at the RAC on Saturday, beginning at 12 p.m.
The four-team event includes MAC foe Bloomsburg, Millersville, and Williams College.
The George Mason matches will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+.
Last time out: Mason opened the 2024-25 season with six place-winners at the annual Battle of the Citadel.
The Patriots finish fourth (95.5) in the team standings in the six-team tournament, just one point behind host The Citadel. Indiana won the championship with 118.5 points, followed by Drexel University (114.5). American (73) and Appalachian State (65.5) rounded out the standings.
Two Patriots,
JT Chance and #18
DJ McGee, finished in the 157-pound championship bout, ending the tournament tied as co-champions.
Evan Maag finished in second place at 165 pounds. Maag, ranked #25, won three straight matches, the first two by fall, before dropping the finals match to D. Fields (NC St) by a 14-9 decision.
Three Patriots finished in third place, Ben Monn (125),
Drew Dickson (165), and
Logan Messer (174).
