George Mason Announces Regional Broadcasts

Fairfax, Va.— George Mason Athletics and multimedia rights partner, Playfly Sports -- George Mason Sports Properties, announced that four Patriots basketball broadcasts will be aired on regional sports networks, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network and Monumental Sports Network during the 2024-25 season.
 
In addition, The George Mason Basketball Coaches Show with Tony Skinn will return for a second season and air on Monumental Sports Network during the course of the year.
 
Monumental will broadcast the Patriots men's basketball game against Rhode Island, scheduled for Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, February 8 at 4 pm. The network is the exclusive local television media rights holder for the NHL's Washington Capitals, NBA's Washington Wizards and WNBA's Washington Mystics and also boasts the most comprehensive regional high school and collegiate sports programming in the greater Washington D.C. metro area.
 
Returning for its 19th consecutive season with the Patriots, MASN will feature two George Mason women's basketball games for the second straight season, beginning with the National Girls and Women in Sports game against rival George Washington on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. A tilt against the UMass Minutewomen will be broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 3 pm.
 
The MASN slate will include a marquee non-conference men's basketball game against Tulane, on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
 
The Patriots will feature two broadcast teams for the basketball games featuring longtime Voice of the Patriots Bill Rohland. Color analyst Craig Esherick will be alongside Rohland for two men's basketball games. Veteran broadcaster Steve Kolbe will handle the women's basketball duties alongside Patriots basketball alum and former head coach Debbie Taneyhill.
 
Patriots' home contests and all conference games that are not aired nationally will be carried on ESPN+, the first multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer & International division in partnership with ESPN.
