Javi Sánchez both scored goals in the second half to propel the No. 13 Patriots to a 2-1 victory over Loyola University Chicago on Wednesday night at George Mason Stadium.

The Patriots improved to 4-0-0 in Atlantic 10 play and have won the first four conference matches for the first time since joining the A-10.

The Patriots won their fifth straight match and improved to 6-0-0 at home.Â

George Mason (10-1-0, 4-0-0 A-10) and Loyola (1-8-2, 1-3-1 A-10) met for the first time.

The Ramblers took the lead in the 19th minute when junior forward Hugo Urdiales raced down the left side and scored one on one against the goalkeeper to make it a 1-0 game.

Lemoine scored the equalizer in the 67th minute off a set piece.Â
Luis Maestre played a corner kick into the box where Lemoine converted with a header to even the score, 1-1.

Less than five minutes later, George Mason took the lead for good off a free kick.

Quentin Clain played the ball into the box where Sanchez elevated and scored the eventual game-winner with a header into the center of the net to put the Patriots in front, 2-1.

Jack Desroches (1-0-0, 1-0-0 A-10) earned his first collegiate win in his NCAA debut.
