FAIRFAX, VA- The George Mason Patriots (3-9-5, 1-4-3 A-10) drop home match up, 2-0, against Richmond University (4-9-2, 2-6-0 A-10) in Fairfax.
The Richmond Spiders found the back of the net early in the match. In the 13th minute, graduate student Kelly Hutton scored off a rebound kick in the bottom left of the goal. This was her third goal of the season and she is tied for the lead of goals scored on the season (3). Her goal was assisted by JoJo McShane.
Just seven minutes later in the 20th minute, Junior Kiley Fitzgerald scored her third goal of the season. She is also tied for the lead in goals scored this season (3). Her goal was assisted by Kelly Hutton.
The Patriots took six shots total throughout the game with only one being on goal. The Spiders had the advantage in corner kicks 8-2.
