GAME PROGRAM

FAIRFAX, VA. – The George Mason women's soccer team (2-7-4, 0-2-2 A-10) host La Salle University (6-2-4, 1-1-2 A-10) Thursday, October 3rd, at 7 p.m. in George Mason Stadium.

PROMOTION
This Thursday will be our pink game to raise awareness for breast cancer. There will be a pink seat cushion giveaway for the first 150 people that attend the match.

LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots played the Revolutionaries this past Sunday in Washington D.C. George Washington came out fast and scored in the 13th minute; Goal by Amelia Booth assisted by Selah Koleth. The rest of the first half was quiet with both teams having five shots and Revolutionaries having the advantage in corner kicks 3-2. 

In the second half, Ariana Bliven scored her first collegiate goal to even the score 1-1. The Patriots tried their best to pull ahead from the Revolutionaries, out shooting George Washington 9-6 and having the advantage in corner kicks 5-2. Goalkeeper Victoria Coninck had five saves on the day compared to GW's three saves.

SCOUTING LA SALLE UNIVERSITY 
Last time out La Salle played Loyola Chicago in Illinois. The game ended in a draw 0-0. Goalkeeper Michela Auguadro recorded her 20th career shutout becoming the second player in La Salle program history to do so. She had seven saves on the day. Haley Gschrey, Kameron Rase, and Justyce Hollenbach all attempted two total shots in the game with one each being on goal. 

HISTORY WITH LA SALLE UNIVERSITY
La Salle leads the all time series against the Patriots with six wins, three losses, and two draws. Last time these two teams played was in 2023 and La Salle came away with the win 5-0.
