Fairfax, Va.— The George Mason wrestling team will host MAC opponent Edinboro on Saturday and old CAA foe Hofstra on Sunday, both matches at home in the RAC.
Mason will battle Edinboro on Saturday at 1 p.m. in a Military Appreciation game. Hofstra will travel to take on the Patriots in a Sunday afternoon tilt at 1 pm on Youth Day.
The Patriots (8-4, 1-1)
In the last match, Mason edged ACC and in-state opponent Virginia, 18-17, at St. Christopher's High School in Richmond, Va., breaking the Cavs 10-match win streak against the Patriots.

Malachi DuVall was selected as the Co-East Wrestler of the Week, announced by the Mid-American. The Centre Hall, Pa. native scored the critical bonus points to propel George Mason over ACC opponent University of Virginia, 18-17. His pin gave Mason the bonus points to beat the Cavaliers for the first time since February 1991. He won by fall in 2:53 over Griffin Gammell. DuVall was the only Mason Wrestler to score bonus points in the dual where each team won five matches. UVA scored two major decision but DuVall's pin gave the Patriots the win.

In the previous match, Edinboro wrestling team fell 23-9 to visiting SIUE Friday night in dual meet action inside McComb Fieldhouse.
The Fighting Scots top ranked conference wrestler is Jack Kilner at 197 pounds, ranked fifth in the MAC. He owns a 14-10 record. At 141 pounds, Jacob Brenneman (11-10) has double-digits wins for Edinboro.
The Pride (3-3)
Hofstra moved to 3-3 on the season with its last loss to No. 4 NC State. All three of the Pride's losses have come against top-five nationally-ranked opponents.
