Full 2023-24 Schedule
FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball program has released its 2023-24 Atlantic 10 league schedule, which includes a national television package and home contests against VCU, Dayton, George Washington and Richmond.
In addition, Mason will welcome Saint Louis, St. Bonaventure, Loyola Chicago, Rhode Island and Duquesne to EagleBank Arena.
This season's A-10 Championship will be played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn from March 12-17.
Mason's full 2023-24 schedule, including previously released non-conference contests, is included at the end of this release.
The Patriots begin the 2023-24 league slate with a trip up I-95 to battle La Salle in Philadelphia on January 3.
From there, Mason returns to Fairfax for two marquee home games. First up, the Patriots battle Saint Louis on Saturday, January 6. That 2 p.m. contest will be broadcast nationally on USA Network.
The Patriots then play the first of two contests against Richmond, starting January 13 with a Saturday contest against the Spiders in RVA.
Mason then heads to the District for a January 15 game at George Washington. It's becoming an annual tradition for the Patriots and Revolutionaries to meet as part of a special Martin Luther King Jr. Day of programming on CBS Sports Network.
The Patriots return home for a pair of home contests in late January. Mason hosts St. Bonaventure on Saturday, January 20, then has a midweek break before suiting up against Rhode Island on January 27.
The Green & Gold wrap up the first month of 2024 with a January 31 tilt against Saint Joseph's in Philadelphia, then head to Amherst for a February 3 game at Massachusetts.
The Patriots welcome Loyola Chicago to Fairfax for a February 7 showdown, then head to North Carolina for a nationally-televised contest at Davidson. That 2:30 p.m. game will air live on USA Network.
Mason is back in Fairfax on February 13 for a home affair against George Washington, then faces off with Dayton on February 21 inside EagleBank Arena.
The Patriots play their return game against Loyola Chicago on February 24 in the Windy City. That Saturday affair will air live on USA Network at 4:30 p.m. (ET). Mason then travels from one great American city to another for a February 27 contest against Fordham in the Bronx.
Mason plays two of its final three home games in Fairfax. The Patriots host Duquesne on Saturday, March 2 in a 4:30 p.m. contest broadcast nationally on USA Network.
After a March 6 road game at Rhode Island, the Patriots wrap up the regular season with Senior Day against Richmond on Saturday, March 9.
The A-10 Championship will be held the following week from March 12-17 in Brooklyn.
In addition to the Patriots' CBS Sports Network and USA contests, the remainder of Mason's television schedule will be announced at a later date. ESPN+ will continue to serve as the regular home for Mason Basketball.
