FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team fell to Davidson, 2-0, in the Atlantic 10 opener on Saturday night at George Mason Stadium.
Mason (1-3-2, 0-1-0 A-10) fell behind Davidson (4-0-1, 1-0-0 A-10) in the 11th minute of play. Senior midfielder Maddux Reece scored his first goal of the season on a set piece to put the Wildcats in front, 1-0.
Junior forward Vincent Bennage played a corner kick into the six yard box to pick up his first assist of the season.
In the 74th minute, Wildcats freshman midfielder Noah Louzan netted his first collegiate goal to extend the advantage to 2-0. Sophomore midfielder Alonzo Clarke notched his first assist of the season on the play.

Jaume Salvado (1-3-2) made two saves. Davidson graduate student goalkeeper Lou Liedtka made one save in the match.
