FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team has added 14 new freshmen to its team for this season. The freshman come from different parts of the country, as well as Canada. Mason's newest players hail from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Missouri, Florida, Connecticut, Colorado and Ontario.
"Our 2023 recruiting class has made a big statement so far in preseason, and we are so excited that they are finally here," said head coach
Manya Puppione. "Coming from the nation's top leagues and clubs, our freshmen fit our game model and team culture. We have national champions, state champions and players with high level playing experience. They have the good character we are looking for, the talent and the competitiveness to add value to our team on and off the field.
