FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason sophomore catcher Connor Dykstra, sophomore starting pitcher Chad Gartland, sophomore outfielder Alex Knapp and freshman reliever Owen Stewart have been selected to the Winston-Salem Regional All-Tournament Team.
 
Dykstra, a native of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, was selected All-Tournament catcher.  He went 4-for-15 with a home run, five RBI and two runs scored over four games.
 
Against No. 19 Maryland in an elimination game, Dykstra finished 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and five RBI on Sunday, June 4 at David F. Couch Ballpark in the Patriots 11-10 walk-off win.
 
Dykstra started all 59 games that he played with a .291 batting average this season.  He led the team in home runs (9), doubles (18), and RBI (48), was third in runs scored (45) and fifth in hits (57).
 
Gartland, a native of Rochester, N.Y., was selected All-Tournament Team starting pitcher.  He tossed a complete game with five strikeouts and two walks in the Patriots 11-3 win over Northeastern in an elimination game on Saturday, June 3.
 
Among A-10 leaders during the season, Gartland led the league in ERA (3.50), tied for second in wins (6), ranked third in innings pitched (79.2), sixth in strikeouts (72) and finished the regular season with the 10th-fewest walks (24).  He pitched at least 6.0 innings in 10 of his 17 starts on the season.
 
Knapp, from Lancaster, Pa., was selected All-Tournament outfielder.  He went 2-for-9 with four walks, five runs scored and drove in a run over the four games.
 
Stewart, a native of Elmira, N.Y., was selected All-Tournament relief pitcher.  He allowed just two runs over 5.1 innings with four strikeouts in the Patriots 11-10 walk-off win against No. 19 Maryland on Sunday, June 4.
 
Stewart appeared in 21 games this season, fourth-most on the club.
